Well this is my first attempt at putting together a menu to follow closely for 5/7 days of the week. The weekend I am free to eat what I want, within reason. Aka no calorie counting, more carbs, but no ice cream binges, please.

Those smoothies are my post workout smoothie. Recipe:

- 1/2 banana
- 1/4 cup frozen fruit chunks (either pineapple or mango)
- 1 cup spinach (looking to start adding kale in too)
- 1 scoop no sugar added whey protein powder
- 6 oz Trader Joe’s Green Juice

The muffins are a homemade bran muffin I like to make. I can post the recipe and pictures later.

Soup every night might get boring but I plan to just make a batch to freeze for the week and switch it up on a weekly basis. This coming week’s soup is a Tuscan white bean garlic soup. Recipe and photos to come. 

This diet will be combined with my normal workout routine of two kickboxing classes/week, two spin classes/week, and one long run plus weight training 3x per week.

Failure is not an option.
